March 12th - 14th 2027
Pocono Summit, PA
Your letter has finally arrived! Spend the weekend stepping into the kind of magical world that made so many of us fall in love with reading in the first place. We’ll rep our houses, enjoy themed activities, lean into a little friendly competition, and spend plenty of time connecting with fellow readers who understand why these stories still feel like home.
Throughout the weekend, we’ll also introduce you to indie books filled with magical worlds, unforgettable characters, and new stories ready to capture that same sense of wonder. Between bookish fun, local adventures, cozy nights in, and a possible surprise author mingle, there will be plenty of opportunities to make memories—and maybe a few new Book Besties along the way.
Our home for the weekend will be Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the beauty of the Pocono Mountains and with plenty to explore nearby.

June 25th- 28th 2027
Jay, New York
Get ready for camp, heroes! This weekend is for the readers who grew up loving mythology, epic quests, legendary heroes, and stories that made us wish we could join the adventure ourselves. Expect a weekend filled with bookish activities, local adventures, cabin fun, and plenty of time to connect with fellow readers.
We’ll also venture beyond the stories we already know and introduce you to indie reads filled with new legends, daring quests, found family, and heroes worth rooting for. Add in a possible surprise author mingle and plenty of time together at the house, and you have a weekend worthy of its own epic tale.
We’ll be escaping to Jay, New York, where a cozy cabin and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains will serve as our own little version of camp for the weekend.
August 21st - 24th 2027
Forks, Washington
There’s something about a rainy little town, an impossible romance, and a touch of the supernatural that still has us hooked. Spend the weekend embracing forbidden romance, supernatural drama, rainy-day vibes, and all the nostalgia that comes with the stories we still love to obsess over. We’ll mix themed fun and local adventures with cozy time together, plenty of book talk, and probably a few debates over fictional men along the way.
But this weekend isn’t only about revisiting old favorites. We’ll introduce you to indie books filled with supernatural secrets, swoony romance, and new characters to love, with a possible surprise author joining us along the way.
And where better to embrace all those rainy-day vibes than Forks, Washington. We’ll spend the weekend surrounded by the forests, misty scenery, and Pacific Northwest atmosphere that make this destination perfect for our supernatural escape.

Blue Ridge, Georgia
Welcome, cadets! Spend the weekend embracing your inner rider with a retreat inspired by everything we love about epic fantasy; dragons, danger, fierce heroines, forbidden romance, found family, and yes, the occasional shadow daddy. Expect themed fun, local adventures, cozy time at the house, and plenty of bookish chaos with your fellow readers.
Along the way, we’ll introduce you to indie fantasy reads filled with new worlds, unforgettable characters, and epic adventures waiting to become your next obsession. A possible surprise author mingle adds one more opportunity to discover the people and stories making the indie book world so much fun.
Our final Reader Retreat of 2027 takes us to Blue Ridge, Georgia, where the mountains and cozy cabin atmosphere create the perfect backdrop for escaping the real world and stepping into a fantasy adventure for the weekend.
